Can I just ask you one more question ?
When I phoned the D.W.P the person I spoke to said "We will possibly try and phone you about your query" if it is possible. I was the one that asked them to put something in writing as I think it is at least good to have written confirmation.. I was told they would give me a reply in writing.
I am letting about two weeks to go by and then would have expected to have heard something. If I have heard nothing do you think it would be okay for me to follow up things by writing to them.. In past experience the D.W.P. usually only contact you when they are looking at your case and generally they are trying to find something out.

Yes I did receive written confirmation when the D.W.P had done my award. after they lapsed my appeal. The appeal was lapsed in January 2019 the payments and new award began February 2019 all that came to me in writing. The award was written for "ongoing period" and told me they would contact me again December 2028 :
I cannot make since of the recent letter they sent me tellling me that I will be contacted for a review M arch 2022.
I phoned them about the query that my award is supposed to be ongoing and had no definite end date. Someone from D.W.P told me that the letter they sent to me for the award in 2019 should have had an end date so one of their workers got the letter wrong, I am waiting for them to write to me explaining what is going on because they have now confused me. Any advice?

If they have not got back to me in one month should that be a reasonable time to then write and enquire if they have any news for me. Phoning does not help that much as they passed me from customer service and then the appeals section and back to customer service.
Their phones have long waiting times and I waited over an hour the first time only to be cut off
as I was giving the man my details. I then had to wait on the phone again to get through for over one hour, so phoning is difficult.
