Hi Foz, I'm not a mod, just a parent like you. I just want to encourage you to fight this stupid decision. My advice is try not to waste emotional energy questioning why they say stupid things like they have to you. Put your energy into following the B&W guides to get down to the fight and make sure you hit date deadlines, keep copies, proofs of posting etc. If you keep popping in to this forum you will read many encouraging true stories of lengthy fights that end up successful.
My take, and I know many share it, is that they say no with any old words to a large share of new claimants totally regardless of genuine need, just so as to cut the government spend. So it's a case of not being fooled by their put-up-barrier tactics. You are in the right place to be supported in how to demolish those barriers. You and your daughter deserve nothing less.
