If your condition has worsened and you are hoping for an approved award - then you could put in for a change of circumstances. This will trigger a quicker review and you will either have a paper-based or telephone assessment. How soon that review would take place is anyone's guess at the moment, but if you received an increased award this would be backdated to the time you told them about the 'change of circumstances'.
You can ring them up at any time about a change of circumstances and then I would follow up that conversation with a letter to start the process.
