No real change.
They gave me 2 points for face to face which took my original award from 8 to 10 points for care.
My mobility stayed at 4 points.
I know I can ask for a statement of reason (which I think we should just get anyway) but I can't and don't want to go through any more of the stress and strain.
I've had the letter from the appeal but still awaiting the letter from DWP.
Thanks for your advice.

Hi Quizzical
I'm sorry that you didn't get the outcome you were hoping for. I can understand you not wanting to keep fighting at the moment. I think you're right to get hold of the statement of reasons, even if you can't face looking at it when it arrives. Tuck it away for future reference.

Hi
Do I have to get it within a time period?
Would the DWP already have got that or will they get a copy too if I ask for one.

Hi Quizzical,
You have to requiest it within one month of the hearing. (If you have missed this date you can still write to them ask, explaining why your request is late, but they don't have to give you one.) They FtT can however take as long as they wish to send it to you.

Hi Catherine.
Thank you for that. It was a great help.
I just want an end to it all, so I think I'll just leave it as it is.
Thanks again.
