As LL in effect says flower123, heating a ready meal does NOT count as preparing a simple meal from fresh ingredients anyway. And even if you were not allergic to eggs a simple meal would be say omelette potatoes and cabbage, could you by yourself wash and peel the potatoes and chop the cabbage [sharp knives?], boil them both, safely carry the pans to the sink [reliable grip, not fall over anything due to poor sight?], drain out the boiling water [without scalding yourself?], then dish up, then carry the plate to the table??? If that was not all checked out then you really must not let the b's grind you down. Follow all the mods' advice and go for it. Best, Denby
