ESA telephone assessment was created by slegne
My son received ESA telephone assessment appt, but only 4 days notice. Rang for new appt with 7 days notice. Then rang again week later to ask for pm appt due sons reversal sleep pattern. Told if new appt letter came out and was am appt to ring and rearrange, 2nd appt was am appt and rang to rearrange, told would be assigned appt when a pm appt became available. Then received phone call from chada could he do appt tomorrow am ( which was date and time of 2nd appt letter ), I explained already spoken to staff prior to request pm appt which they agreed to previously, she said she would send email that pm appt required. Now 3 weeks later no appt letter received. Bit worried about their confused internal communications, have they sent it back to DWP.

Hi Slegne
Sorry to hear that you are having such a difficult time fixing a suitable appointment for your son. Unfortunately, I can't tell you what they might have done - you can only ring and ask. Normally if papers have been returned, claimants find their money has been stopped. You haven't said this has happened, but in order for you to have peace of mind, you should ring and ask where they are with arranging a suitable appointment.

Just my sympathy, my sister is largely nocturnal as a result of family trauma and finds it a double battle in life to get things eg latest her covid jab, AND get people to deal with her at 2-3 pm onwards...Denby
