Anees.. If I understand this correctly, you contacted ESA and found the review date had been put deferred for 2 years?
I was expecting a review some time ago. Can anyone tell me if calling and asking for the review date could trigger or bring forward the review? Might the call handler decide to 'get the ball rolling'?
Would like to know, but the ESA process makes me very ill indeed, hence reluctant to make that call.
ESA is an indefinite award with scheduled reassessment based on the Prognosis Date completed by the assessor in their report, so your existing ESA award continues in payment until a new Decision is made.
Until you make the phone call you will not know. I have not seen any posts on the forum where making a phone call has triggered a review, at present there is a backlog of cases waiting for a review, DWP are concentrating on new claimants.
