I have just been on the phone to Pip, as my extension date was due to end next week. After explaining I had only had my assessment yesterday and the assessor informing me the decision could take eight weeks. The case manager has extended my award for a further eight weeks. So thankfully I will continue to receive payment whilst I'm waiting for the decision.

Well done Lisa. You just need to check that your next payment does come in just in case the message does not get all the way from the case manager to the dept which issue payments.

Hi Catherine
He did say the date has been updated on my claim, so hopefully there won't be a problem. I have just had the text to say the reports with them. So it may be dealt with before then anyway. I am going to ring tomorrow for a copy of the report.
