Hi Lisa,

I just wanted to say, I myself found myself in the same scenario, the letter came through in January saying my award was ending April (I, too was awarded by tribunal). I was so scared and kept putting it off calling them. I eventually got the courage a week ago, the questions they ask are very basic, name, d.o.b, gp’s details, they did not ask me any questions of my illness.

I have never once said this about the DWP but the call handler was nice and helpful even offering the fact you can have an extension if you need more time to fill out the form.

I received my new claim form yesterday and I have to return it by the 5th April (the day my claim ends).

What I would like to say to you is, make the call, I wish I hadn’t put it off for so long, also the fact you were awarded by tribunal, refer to their decision(s) and your MR, should make it easier this time when filling out the form, rather than starting from scratch.

I wish you all the best and know you are not alone.

Best wishes.
