Hi Binky

No home assessments are being done in the current climate and I suspect it will be a very long time before they are restarted. Sometimes advice from doctors about telephone assessments are ignored - so you may have to fight this point. Like many people you have done everything you can to provide them with lots of evidence - let's hope they read it and make a paper-based decision.

Thank you ,yes I understand about home assessment and I'm sure they'll be a while away ,if it was going to be a paper based assessment wouldn't the dwp do that or are all reviews or in my case change of conditions sent to assessment provider,it's been so stressful cause it was an on going award from 2017 but the arthritis in spine is worse and in hands now which wasn't before it's seems not many people have been in this position I got standard for both last time thanks for taking the time to listen ,your help on this site is most welcome.

Hi Binky

If you triggered the review with a change of circumstances (ie your condition has worsened) - then they normally reassess claimants - in which case they may try and do a telephone assessment, but they may just do a paper-based assessment. We can't tell you with any certainty what they will do. There is little standard practice in these circumstances and particularly in these difficult times.
