Thanks for that. I prefer to write a letter as well. I think they're a lot more personal, if that makes sense.

Hello CD0912,
It is the first time I prepare my PIP Mandatory Reconsideration.
But I am finding the B&W guides for MR and Appeals very helpful, especially their letter layouts under PIP Appeal Submissions and also help from the moderators on this forum together with people like you in me who are on the same boat.
Kind wishes

Hi CD0912
I always used the form CRMR1 as everything is set out and you can add extra pages.

Hi CD0912
Sorry I didn’t respond to your post as I completely forgot about my last posts. Spent the last 5 days in a travelodge as I’m sick to death of noise in my current place.
As others have said can use letter or form. I’ve done both over the years. It might be best to use form and add more if you need to.

I never submitted any evidence to HMCTS as never got that far my grounds of appeal was my MR Letter word for word and that resulted in a lapse of appeal to a full enhanced award on both parts for 10 years within 3 weeks of submitting appeal online
I was in the process of writing a statement and enclosing the evidence when a text came through from HMCTS and a letter from DWP a few hours later
