The first question I would ask you is, did you send the letter by recorded delivery, if you did check with Royal mail that it was delivered?
You may want to try and get your MP involved as they can speed the case up, we have had one member on the forum who has been successful, but it was a bit of an ordeal, they have posted a message of encouragement tonight on the forum.
