If you decide to ring the DWP try doing so as soon as possible after 9.00 since the queues seems to be shortest then.

called atos again as it's now 4 months - apparently they are looking at it now. wait now for the stress of appeal etc.
anyway need to rant - she insisted I had to give her the correspondence address they have for me, and disagreed when I told her it was my home address. according to them I had given them another address for correspondence. eventually convinced her that was wrong and she agreed to remove it. could explain why I was penalised previously for not attending an intervew for which i didn't receive notification!
I asked her what address they were using - apparently it was a job centre in birkenhead!!!! over 200 miles away from where I live. you couldn't make it up.
