Is Pip assessment still 4weeks was created by Kris2fer
Hi I have just received my pip review form pip.1043 today 24 April .
The deadline for sending it back is the 15th July, Should we still have 4 weeks to complete.
I know I still have just under 3 week's but it causes me a overwhelming amount of stress try to get it all sorted.
Is it worthwhile letting the dwp know I have only just received it, I am not asking for an extension as such just 4 weeks. Are they likely to give me that week?
Thanks
Chris

Hi Kris2fer
The time given always includes the time it takes for the letter to arrive. Just ring and ask for the two-week extension which you will be given.

If you have been given a deadline of ?? July why are you wanting an extension?? Im confused...
I too have received my PIP form and on it the deadline for returning is July too.
Have these 4 weeks periods been extended due to Covid or are the DWP giving people longer the complete the forms now?

The 15th July is 3 months away. I understood everyone was getting 3 months to return it is that incorrect. Best wishes

Seems like perhaps some confusion? If it is the 15th JULY it sounds more like it is the three MONTHS some people have been given. [Dating as they do from when they send it out, very second class, not when it reaches you, this could tally]
Hope you are able to get some peace of mind, even if it means calling them to confirm.

Hi An ex nurse
On the forum we are receiving mixed messages, so we cannot say categorically that everyone has been given 3 months to return it, the covering letter should say when the form has to be returned by, if you need longer call DWP before the due date and ask for an extension.
