Hi all.
Have asked for my relatives pip assessment report today been told they can’t send it out until decision is made. Probably 6 weeks. Had text 7 days ago from dwp to say they had received assessment. Guessing it’s been done as paper. Told rules have changed. Does this make difference as have had report in past after phoning them but that was face to face. Relative is autistic . Any advice much appreciated

Hello Paul18,

I do remember reading once before on this forum that someone had had the same problem. My advice to you, at least in the first instance, is to ring up again and hope you get someone who is more helpful. I have not heard or read of the rules changing, and I suspect our pages would be full of it if it was the case.

Wishing you success,
Catherine

Hi, In my understanding this is only true in Northern Ireland [don't ask me why...]. In rest of UK, just call again until you get an advisor who does their job nicely. When you get it be ready to write to the Decision Maker immediately to coldly challenge all significant flaws. You don't have to wait for the decision and it can make a huge difference -it did for our daughter.
best, Denby

Hi Catherine and Denby.
Followed your advice rang again. Asked for PA4 report. They said no problem will sent it out expect it in 7 to 10 days. Only for this site would have accepted what I was told on first request. Hopefully assessment brings good news.
Thanks for your help.
