PA4 Delay was created by Manic_Minotaur
Hello,

Just thought I’d share as this information may be useful to other members of the forum! I had my PIP telephone assessment on Friday, I rang up today (Tuesday) to get a copy of my PA4.
Apparently they still haven’t received it yet even though it has been over 48 hours and the lady on the phone informed me she’s had a few people who’s assessment was on Friday that they haven’t received reports yet for either - so I’m not sure if there’s some kind of backlog or delay at the minute but it seems this 48 hour window to get them back isn’t set in stone!

Apparently they have set a ‘task’ to get this to me when they have received it but I can’t say as that I trust it. I hope it won’t be too long anyway!

Just rang this morning and they are still claiming to not have received my report from the assessor yet… is this usual?
The person I just spoke too said to call back in another week! But I see most people are able to ask for a copy of their report 2 days after their assessment.

Thanks

Hi Manic_Minotaur

I am not surprised, I have a client who has now been waiting 6 weeks, he has phoned DWP a few times to be told the same story by different operators.

I got a text message the Monday after mine was uploaded, does this not happen to everyone?

Hi Gary,

At the point of waiting 6 weeks for an assessment report would said client not be able to ring their assessment provider and ask them to send another report out to the DWP? - 6 weeks to scan a document screams intense audit, or lost document to me.
Is it also the case that they will only send out a PA4 once they've received both an electronic and paper copy of the report.

Hi Manic_Minotaur

I would have to agree with you, unfortunately my client is waiting to undergo a major operation and does not want to deal with the missing PA4 at this moment in time. We have discussed getting his MP involved to push things along but for now he has other things on his mind.

He has just received a hospital bed to help him with his condition, so he is able to tilt his bed in virtually any position, this will help him post op.
