Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Hi chaulky,
They will certainly do their best for you. It can depend on how much time and experience the particular advisor you are assigned has. I would recommend that you accept their help (I have a mantra which goes along the lines of no one should have to complete a PIP form by themselves), but also read our guides to enable you to put in the best possible application.

The reason I ask is I am good at filling pip form myself but I have a lot of hospital appointments but my head is done in at the minute and I needed to know if they will do a good job on the forms as I could I have always filled forms in myself but I have started forgetting a lot of things now and cant think straight and dont want to mess it up

Hi Chaulky,
I wish I could give you a definitive answer. Generally agencies are good, but I have come across forms filled in by some which have done the claimant no favours.

You should get the form to review, edit and sign before it is sent to the DWP. You can then take the opportunity to change anything you feel is not quite correct.
