Hello Robert,

Hopefully by now your assessment is behind you. Do remember to give the DWP a ring on Tuesday and ask for a copy of the Assessor's report (PA4) so you know what they have put about you. If you don't agree with it, if you are reasonably quick you can send in a letter to the DWP to say what you disagree with before it is read by the Decision Maker. If you do that remember to say at the start of the letter that they are comments on the PA4 report, not a Mandatory Reconsideration Request.

I was interested to hear that you are in NI. You are the second person from there who has spoken about the really helpful approach they have to recording. Hopefully it will catch on this side of the Irish Sea.

Hi Robert

Yes it is normal for the assessor to phone the claimant to clarify some details before completing the assessment, if it was 11 days ago you may want to contact DWP and ask for a copy of the assessors report (PA4).

It does not happen often but we do hear of it happening on the forum.

Hi Gary, thank you for your reply.im just thinking,if the assessor is still contacting me for further information, then the PA4 report hasn't been sent to DWP yet.when I missed assessor calls yesterday I rang capita to have her phone me back but I was told it was too late, and they would send her a note to ring again today.so I'm thinking should I leave it for48hrs after my next and hopefully last call from assessor, thank you
