Pip review was created by Gemma
Hi, I received a pip extension for November 2023 however I received an annual review today dated the 04/12/2022 by which they wanted it back the 04/01/2023 due to the postal delays etc I have only just got it so had to call them as there was no way I could get it done and back to them. The lady I spoke to asked me if there have been any changes by which I said no, she said just to write no changes on the form if I’m happy with my current award and nothing will change I feel like she is tricking me here and reading the information on here it says to go into detail rather than just putting no changes what should I do please?

Hi Gemma
The person you spoke to is a call handler and is not involved in reading the forms. Please do not follow her advice. Sometimes people are too ill to do very much and are forced to just write 'no change', but we always suggest people write something. Please have a look at the Guide to PIP claims and reviews. You will find information from Page 128 on how to complete the form.

Hi Gemma,
I received the same letter over the weekend. My PIP claim was extended until November 2023 from February 2023, like your's.
I have written to my MP about it as clearly there has been a mix up with their computer system and it would be unreasonable for me to complete and submit their form at such short notice.
Kind regards

Hi Tinol
Be aware that PiP review forms get sent out for anything up to 12 months before the award end date - which is what has happened to you. They do this to give plenty of time for them to be processed. You may have contacted your MP - but don't rely on them getting back to you quickly. Contact the DWP and ask for an extension to return the form. It will be granted.
