Changing from carers to sdp

Thanks for all the prior help.

I do have another question, my wife is current y entitled to and claiming carers for myself, however her illness means we may need to get external help.

If we cancel her carers does that mean I can then claim sdp against me (my last question was sdp for her as no one claims carers for her)

Will it trigger a "change if circumstances"

And once we are moved to uc, will it be better for us to be on carers or sdp?

Only if she is in her own right receiving a PIP Daily Living award.

Yes we are both in receipt of enhanced daily care pip, she has got 3 years mines 10

I also checked out letter, while it's just in my name it says "the money for you and your partner to live on"

So I assume this means a joint claim?

Providing no one else lives with you then you should be eligible for the couples rate of SDP.
