I have seizures and am unable to follow the route of a familiar or unfamiliar route as i get no warning when I am going to have one so I cannot make myself safe
I went alone to somewhere I know quite well and had a seizure, flowing this I was very disorientated and confused and had no idea where I was , and one lady Said I was walking towards ongoing traffic. Apparently she tried to reassure me and advise me where I needed to be but she said I could not understand her instructions. She eventually got my phone and called my husband. This as really frightened me and causes me a lot of distress just think of going out on my home. Sadly I have not been able to drive for many years because of seizures. I have got my pip review coming up and am quite worried I may not keep enhanced mobility as i have seen so m any stories where it as been taken off people

Hi Tonky12

The problem with reading other people's posts is that it is very easy to scare yourself about what might happen. It's true that some people have lost their enhanced mobility, but it's impossible for you to know whether that decision was fair or unfair when you only have one side of the argument.

All you can do is concentrate on your own case, and when it comes up for review, explain fully about your uncontrollable seizures, the high risk to your safety and the devastating and restricting impact that it has on your mobility and daily life. I can't say whether you will get enhanced again - no one can. You can only do your best and tell your story. Don't hold back, and don't assume the person reading it has an understanding or experience of your condition. Even if you're saying that nothing has improved, you still need to put in an explanation again. You can get help on how to do that in the Guide to PIP Claims and Reviews when needed. benefitsandwork.co.uk/guides-for-claimants/pip
