PIP assessors report going to another health professional. was created by fitzk
Hi, I have been trying to get my PA4 since Friday (48hrs after the assement) it wasn’t ready. I have just called again and the DWP don’t have it yet. So i called the independant assessors, my report is with another health professional who is checking it over - the senior one apparently. I had an awful phone call so am quite concerned about this.
(My medical report I submitted says I have severe Oesteoartritis with no cartlidge etc. and degenerative disc disease in my spine and I have mobility isssues. The assessor really didn’t understand this. )
Thanks for any help.

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Hi Fitzk
A certain number of assessment reports get viewed by another assessor. They are often chosen at random.
I'm sorry that you had a bad experience - but you can't read anything into it being looked at by someone else. I have known it to take up to two weeks to be passed back to the DWP when this has happened. Try not to worry and ring the DWP in a few days and see if it has arrived.

Thanks. I’ll call back. I’m wondering if it a was a person who had just trained so they check a few reports.
