PIP was created by maryo
Hello,

I would appreciate your advice please.

I was due to volunteer overseas for a few weeks but unfortunately I was in an accident and was unable to travel.
I have received a letter from the hospital detailing my injuries and further referral but also including this information.

I was wondering if this would be helpful or harmful to my claim in terms of evidence for my current claim?
This is not my primary claim for PIP and my injuries sustained are likely to be short term and self limiting but would serve as additional evidence and information.

I do not know whether I am able to get an amendment to the letter but I am uncomfortable with this information on my GP records as I fear it could be detrimental.

I was wondering what you advice or suggest?

Thank you for your help.

For any injuries to be considered by PIP then you must have suffered from them for three months and there must be a reasonable expectation that you will continue to do so for a further nine.
