After you were rejected for PIP in 2022 - Did you get a copy of the assessment report? This is a PA4? If you did, then hopefully, you have an idea of why you were rejected. If you didn't get a copy of the assessment report at the time, you can still ring the DWP now and ask for a copy. You should also have some information on the Mandatory Reconsideration about why you got turned down (though this information may be a little sparse).

If you haven't already, I would go back through the Guide to PIP Claims and reviews and see if there is anything you missed out or could have explained more clearly. Please don't think I'm saying you made any mistakes, but if you're going forward with your appeal, you want to make sure you have made the best arguments you can. It's very easy to assume that someone reading your form will understand your medical condition/s and your difficulties, but in the course of the PIP process, your form is judged by a non-medical person - so it's worth checking that you have said everything you need to say. benefitsandwork.co.uk/guides-for-claimants/pip

I hope that when you put in for your appeal, you also looked at the Guide to PIP Appeals and how to challenge a medical report. You can update your appeal submission up to a month before the appeal takes place - so if you think you have missed something - then submit it.

If you are wondering how long you are going to have to wait - then you need to ring the Tribunal Service, and they will be able to give you some sort of timeframe. We used to say it was a year, but recently some people have had theirs in a much shorter space of time. It does vary across the country.
