PIP review P4 form was created by Caval1er
Hi All, I am new here. I've joined because I've just had my PIP reviewed for first time in 4 years and first non paper based assessment. It was awful and I've not been able to eat properly or leave home since. I've got a copy of the P4 form and they have removed points for Mobility so no Mobility points anymore and also some points for daily living. The assessor in my opinion contradicts themselves between the summary info and the questions where points are awarded. For example, they state that I need prompting to eat, but that I have no problems with taking nutrition and then in the summary info they report I have said I will eat criaps and chocolate instead of proper meals. Same with planning journeys. I have letters from NHS psychologist stating I need prompting and support to take nutrition and plan jouneys, I also have letters from therapist and gp stating the same, these letters are from 4 years ago now though, as therapy hasn't helped and I've not had support recently due to moving to new area. I have a diagnosis of EUPD and two years ago was also diagnosed with autism. I don't know what is best to do, I'm struggling just waiting. Is it worth me calling dwp before decision is made and asking to speak to a decision maker and tell them the report doesn't accurately represent my situation?. Would it be easier to talk to them before decision is made, rather than try to change their minds after the event? Will they talk to me before decision is made? Sorry for long post and thank you for reading. Any advice would be gratefully received. Thank you!
