Hi, I’m just wanting to know would the DWP have access to your medical records/ Gp records? I.e. if you have an appointment with consultants while you’re waiting for your application to be reviewed. Would this be updated in real time with their system or not?
The DWP doesn't have any access to your medical/GP records. Should they want additional information they have to contact the GP and it should only be given if the claimant has already agreed they can do this.
