PIP QUERY was created by Bud
Hello all, I sent off my PIP form the end of March. I got a message to say that they had received it, I know I was shocked too. Then I had another message in June saying this:

We still have your PIP form and will be
progressing your review as soon as we can. You may still need an assessment with a health professional. Your PIP will continue to be paid until we review your claim. You only need to contact us if your circumstances change.

The award which I got at tribunal will finish at the end of October. Do I contact them or leave it, as I do not want to have to start a new claim.

Thank you

Hi Bud,

Your PIP will continue after October (I believe the letters that were sent out to people, mentioned up to a one year extension), until you get your appt. with the HCP - which will then determine whether you're re-awarded it or not.

From what you've said, there is no need to contact them - they will contact you to advise you when your assessment will be, should you need one.

Regards, Chris

Strangely enough I had another message today from DWP, saying they will contact me … It’s almost like they’re watching you.
