Universal credit was created by Filey
Hi, I have been claiming universal credit for 2 months now and have had a telephone appointment once a month with work coach. I have fit notes from my doctor and I recently sent off my work capability assessment form. On my last appointment with work coach, he gave me details of the next telephone appointment, which was in another month's time. He has now cancelled this and the next telephone appointment is in another 10 weeks. Could any one tell me if this is normal please as it seems a long time to wait, although I'm.not complaining!

Hi Filey
Is it normal? it depends on what you call normal with the DWP.
DWP is under pressure with a number of legacy claimants being asked to apply for UC, as you have completed your WCA you have been parked as your change of circumstances will not change in the short term.
In 10 weeks time, you may have had an assessment, in which case your workcoach will go by the result, it will also depend on your claimant commitment which you signed with your workcoach.
