Hello, I did an MR in July of this year. I wrote the letter within one month of the decision letter - how long do they take to reply (roughly) as it’s been 2 months since writing? I sent the letter signed for delivery and have proof of it being received with their signature and a photo from Royal Mail. I’m thinking of timespan as I’m working myself up to ringing them if necessary. TIA
I'm sorry, but we honestly don't know. In the current climate, I expect eight to twelve weeks - but I know people who have waited longer, and some have had their replies quicker. I know it can be terrifying to ring to try and find out the status of your MR, but the only way you will know is to contact the DWP for an update.
