applying for ESA again was created by Olive
Hi,
If you (at present) receive New style Esa CREDITS only, and was awarded LWCRA status on your assessment, if you apply for ESA again would you:-
1) write on the form you already have LWCRA from your previous WCA asessment?
2) NOT write on the form you already have LWCRA?
3) when they do the next (new) assessment, will they see on their computer screen that you were given LWCRA (and still have that at present) on your previous WCA?
4) Would you have more chance of being awarded LWCRA again on this new assessment, or not?
Thank you in advance.

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Hi Olive
Cannot give you an answer as NS ESA is based on your NI contributions.
If you receive NI 'credits' these only count towards the second contribution condition for NS ESA, the first condition depends on the NI contributions that you have actually paid in the relevant tax year.
I would advise you to seek help from your local Welfare Rights Organisation; advicelocal.uk

O
Just to add to GAry's comments.
You do not have a "New style Esa CREDITS only" claim, such a thing does not exist.
You are receiving NI Credits through National Insurance legislation and the fact that you have LCW (Limited Capability for Work).
Any new claim for NS ESA will be entirely new.
