Budget Benefit Changes and ESA Migration

Sorry my previous message confusing. I instead ask:

I now understand Budget Benefit changes will not happen until 2025 and will only apply to new claimants. These changes mention ESA in 2025 - but I thought all ESA recipients were to be migrated to Universal Credit over the next 12 months. We were told we would get a letter making us opt to transfer within 3 months. Has this migration been abandoned? Thanks if anyone knows.

Hi Zinny

The migration has not stopped, at the moment DWP are concentrating on certain areas and on claimants receiving Tax Credits, at present DWP are in the phase of test and learn as the mirgation is being rolled out.

In 2024 the roll out will be excellerated across all means tested benefits.
