PIP phone assessment. was created by Csm
We are now getting the Text messages from the DWP saying they will progress the review soon as they can. My question is can they ' unannounced'. do a phone assessment.? my wife suffers stress and anxiety and is on medication plus can be forgetful when put under pressure. so, as her representative i would also need to be present. as i would be if it is a face-to-face assessment as i have all the facts and information hand .
thanks for any replies

Replied by BIS on topic PIP phone assessment.
Hi CSm

Your wife should get 7 days notice of a telephone assessment. If you are her official appointee - you can carry out the assessment. If you are an unofficial representative, the amount you are allowed to say to support her will depend on the assessor.
