Migrated naturally from ESA to UC was created by george
Hi there , anyone know if when you are changed over to UC naturally ( no change of circumstances etc ) and so don't need sick notes , do the DWP accept things to be just straightforward no sick notes no assessment ( due one around 2026 I think ) if you won at tribunal last time (2018) , have also pip daily awarded for number of years ( got awarded first time with pip with home visit and automatically awarded again through letter for Four years . Hope I make sense .

Hi george,

If you are undertaking " natural migration " to UC then you have to be careful that there aren't any gaps in your claims. So don't close your Legacy Benefits ( ESA, IS, JSA ) claim yourself. You don't need to as when you claim UC the Legacy Benefit claims are automatically closed and in most circumstances cannot be re-opened. This applies to all three types of UC Migration. (Natural, Managed and Voluntary )

Hope this helps,
David
