What to claim after SSP was created by Roz

Looking for some advice, a family member has been off work following an assault, SSP will finish in October and his employment will end. I’m unsure what to claim for him, UC or ESA, he will not be fit enough to work again, he is 60 years old .

Your friend won't have a choice - it will be UC as ESA is being phased out.
