Can I be penalised on review for refusing a steroid injection into my Lumbar spine? I have spondylosis, no discs & spine has fused itself. I am terrified I may end up paralysed if I accept the injection.

I'm sorry that you have to live with that fear. No assessor should make a judgement about whether you choose to have a steroid injection or not. They are not experts in your condition or you. Hopefully, it won't even come up.
