irESA to UC managed migration was created by BarbaraG
Hello again - I am still struggling to find an answer - when helping my autistic son to deal with his managed migration please can someone tell me what constitutes "Evidence" - I have copies of his diagnosis and I keep a daily diary describing how his autism manifests but it goes into hundreds of pages. I don't want to send unnecessary paperwork so please can someone advise me - I have read your guide and that does not tell me - I have looked at the .gov website and that does not tell me. I have tried phoning and was answered by a very nice young man but I could not understand a word he was saying! Please can someone help - Barbara

Hi BarbaraG,
No, during the UC Managed Migration process you don't need to send off hundreds of pages of evidence. UC should be specific about what they want. You should have a To Do in your new UC online account stating exactly what is required of you. If you are worried or confused send a UC Journal Message asking your question and choose from the drop down list Payment. The message will then be routed to the UC Case Manager. It is best to avoid sending messages to the Work Coach as they seem to be causing a lot of problems at present. I expect due to bad training ( or maybe even incompetence ).

Thank you David - I did manage to speak to someone at CAB who was very helpful and concurred with your comment - I have my life back - no need to be copying 400 pages of diary yet anyway!
