So Called Over Payment From Dwp ! was created by LeedsLad88
Hello all
i've been a member for over a year but not posted and am just looking for some information or help about challenging the DWP overpayment,

They are saying they over payed me last year and now there are looking into it and said i will have to pay £22 every two weeks till 2027, but i believe they owe me as i have looked in to all my payment as i had my money halved last year wile going though a tribunal progress !

Any help will be most helpful so i can challenge this !

Thanks Wez

Hi LeedsLad88

Welcome to the forum.

You might want to have a look at the following FAQ which explains where everything is; www.benefitsandwork.co.uk/guides-for-claimants/faq/forum.

We cannot advise you as we do not know which benefit you are talking about. If it is a legacy benefit then you can ask them to write it off due to official error, if it is a UC overpayment then there are no official errors even if DWP are at fault.

You do need to seek advice from your local Welfare Rights organisation; advicelocal.uk .

Hi Leedslad88

I'm sorry, we can't provide you with an answer on why the numbers are different. This is something you will have to raise with the DWP.
