Alternative payment arrangement of Fortnightly instead of Monthly - Migration UC

Hello,

Under the Managed Migration to UC, instead of asking for an advance payment of UC (repayable each month from any ongoing award for a maximum of 24 months),
- I intend to ask for an alternative payment arrangement of UC such as fortnight payments instead of UC being paid once a month.
( If they refuse I may have to ask for an advance payment of UC).

I am wondering if anybody knows of anyone who was successful in getting alternative payment arrangements of UC being paid every two weeks instead of every month.

I am sorry for asking again but I cannot find the very helpful leaflet I printed off the link you gave above about the conditions that need to be met to help with alternative payment arrangements such as fortnightly.

I do not know why but the helpful link you enclosed above gives an error page today though it did not when you posted it and it was a very helpful link.

Plus I have read on one of the commentaries to the recent news “ Vital managed migration safeguard for disabled claimants” above this page that someone despite being told it was not possible to get alternative payments, finally got UC payments made every two weeks because of having needs.

I am sorry to ask you to ‘work’ again looking out for the article you posted that disappeared but if you had that link again, I would be very grateful. Maybe ‘they’ deleted it on purpose…
