PIP/WCA/UC was created by chas

will closing my uc claim stop the DWP harrassing me to look for work?.
will i still get my pip once i close the uc claim?..
I am disabled 57 year old - the dwp turned down my MR rebuttal in 2024 but only told me in jan 2025.
To avoid going to a tribunal now to prove i am unfit for work - would it be easier to close my uc claim?.

Hi chas,

Yes it is easy to close your UC claim. Your PIP will be unaffected. You don't have to give UC a reason. You could phone and ask the UC agent to close the claim.
