ESA TO UC MIGRATION was created by LJ

I need to ask for an extension to migrate from ESA to UC.

Does anyone know, if the extension to apply for migration is granted do you still receive your ESA payments during the extension period and are you still covered by transitional protection during the extension period?

Hi LJ,

When you phone the UC Migration line the agent will make a decision on the extension according to the reason you give. If granted then your Legacy Benefits payments carry on and your Transitional Protection is not affected.
