Hello everyone 😊

I am WillowPerch but you can call me Willow for short! This is a post to introduce myself and get accustomed to using this website, I've been a member on here since 2023 but have only recently started to visit here more often. I've been quite busy lately and have been meaning to write this post for a while but decided to take the time to write it today.

I've been in receipt of income-related Employment and Support Allowance (ESA) for almost 10 years now, I was also receiving Personal Independence Payment (PIP) up until late 2023 when my PIP award was revoked due to insufficient evidence. Earlier this month, I received a letter informing me that I will be migrating over to Universal Credit (UC) soon and that I need to complete an online application to do so. I do feel worried about it but I am taking the process step-by-step to make sure that everything is done properly and to also ensure I have enough evidence if a Work Capability Assessment (WCA) is deemed necessary.

That is all for now! Thank you for taking the time to read this post! I look forward to taking part on this forum, speaking with those in the same boat as me, and finding out more information.

Hi Willow

Thanks for your introduction.
Universal Credit Managed Migration is a matter of concern for a lot of members of the BenefitsandWork forum.
Are you aware of the assistance you can get from the Citizens Advice Help to Claim service?
Here is a description from one of our members.

Let me know how you get on.
