Because I have heard on this forum that some people once transferred to UC, unfortunately were told that they never were on ESA support Group, when our fellow members said they were, I have asked ESA to provide me with letters just in case this happened to me.
Just before I migrated I asked ESA to send me a letter confirming I was on ESA support group.
After my migration I contacted ESA and asked them to send me a letter confirming I used to be on ESA with the relevant details.
That letter confirms the type of esa I was on and the period I was on esa. It states the weekly entitlement of esa I used to get just prior to my migration to UC. It also give a detailed breakdown of that weekly esa inclusive of Support Group.
I did not need that letter but if universal credit had said I was not on esa support group and as a result on UC had to look for work or provide fit notes, I would have had my letter as proof I was on ESA support group.
All the best to my B&W fellow members.
