My son gets Income related ESA and is in the Support group as he has Severe learning difficulties and mental problems will he still be kept in the Support group with the new criteria or will he have to apply for work please because he wouldn't be able to do that. He also gets Pip at the advanced rate Thanks
When your son goes through the UC Managed Migration process he will keep his Support Group status and it will be called LCWRA. He will not have to look for work or prepare for work and his PIP will be unaffected.
