Thank you David,
I just phoned up universal credit and it seems the prognosis is 26 months from me submitting my first fit note - I have requested they send me the full assessment report .
I do feel a bit disheartened because I was really hoping the prognosis time would be longer. I know, in reality, I am really fortunate to have this result and support from Benefits and Work has definitely played a part in getting the result I hoped for. Also with the backlog I do hope it is much longer than 2 years until I have to face another review/ assessment and that I continue to have good support from the NHS if I do require further medical evidence. My consultant has said I will continue to have their support which is a great relief.
The informative and kind responses on the forum, including yours of course, have helped thank you! 😊
As you advised I will keep an eye on Benefits and Work News and hope that things improve for everyone regarding the current proposals 🙏
Kind regards,
Jane

Hi janerg63
Don't attribute any significance to a prognosis date. There are thousands of people with prognosis dates in 2019 and 2020 who are in the queue for a WCA.
