I have called uc twice, I don’t think they believe I have a bs57 appointeeship.. they said on Thursday they sent email to job centre for them to call never happened, I called again yesterday and they said they sent urgent message to job centre to call yesterday… again never happened. In the text I got that said had to go to appointment at job centre, it states money may be stopped if don’t attend…. But claimant can’t attend and I can not attend as I work and don’t live near claimant… to verify appointee.. which I already have. I have emailed Julia, I haven’t had response. What more can I do claimant is suicidal thinking money will stop.. if they have to go job centre they will scream the place down and that’s not really fair on claimant.. I have no journal… and when calling UC they don’t seem to be helping. Your advise is appreciated

Hi Harli

Over a 14 month period the DWP expect to migrate a million claimants and with an acknowledged 5% error rate your case is probably amongst them.
I expect someone has messed up your Appointeeship. You can find out my phoning UC and ask the agent to check on the IT system CIS Searchlight. They need to go to the Relationships Tab at the top of the screen and click on it and the Appointeeship should show. If not then the Appointeeship has not been registered. It could be for a lot of reasons such as the from BF56 from the Visiting Officer got lost in the huge amount of DWP internal mail.
Hopefully you will get a reply from the Area Manager next week.
