Q: I currently receiving DLA on the higher rate for both day and night and ESA again on the higher rate on all elements, including the server disability element. I’m sadly being transferred to UC! My Question is, I live with my landlord who receives 25% disregard on his council tax, as being disabled I’m not counted as I don’t pay council tax, (Private rental) Housing benefit was paid by the council it wasn’t a problem; however, I can’t find any forms, etc regarding applying for a 25% disregard for my landlord under U.C. Occupancy: Myself and my Landlord, 3-bedroom house. I welfare write adviser sadly has no idea, can any-one help, advise? Many thanks.
