DLA TRIBUNRAL was created by taratara
my brother attended a tribunral last week and they have requested medical records going back to 1993 when he first claimed dla has any one else had this.He was reported for working by someone and watched by dla for six months then was asked for a iuc he said he could walk for longer than he can to be honest he was so confussed and would have said any thing to get out of the room we got new mri scans full doctors reports oc assesment etc but they said they only want to see evidence from 1993 when he first was awarded can anyone give us any advice please

hi
make sure ur brother does take legal help, as i know that when these people take you in for questions their are very very vindictive, their will not understand that peoples days have different effects on them, certain days their are better than others, get professional legal people to act on his behalf.hopefully all will be sorted. tk cr.

Suspected fraud cases can be very complex indeed, and therefore the information given in the previous post is sound advice, in that professional (legal) assistance is absolutely essential.
Working in itself does not preclude a claimant from receiving DLA, unless the work involved is not compatible with the stated level and/or type of disability as detailed on the DLA claim form.

thank you for your replies we do have a welfare officer but he is shocked they are going back till 1993 when he was watched for six months they said we have not seen you working as he can not it was the iuc he was confussed and said things he never did as he suffers from confussion we have full medical proof of his illness but they still want back dated proof does any one think we should get a solicitor
