Hi,

If the Doctor does not agree to the recoding then what are they attempting to hide?

I would ask ATOS if they are going to refund your expenses if the Doctor refuses to be recorded and why they are refusing.

Depressed Derek I think you have a valid point there, as the Doctor said he was told to refuse any medical if it was to be recorded. I will stand and fight this all the way as when my Chris had his first medical way back last November I secretly recorded the medical and I did this because of all the trouble my brother has had with his claims for DLA after losing his some 3 years ago and he is still fighting it. I suffer with Fibromyalgia and one of the symptons is memeory problems, hence one of the reasons to record the medical, but when we listened to the recording after I found this website and and had I already submittted why we was challenging the refusal I realised the Doctor had made many errors!!! only to have recently found out I could still have used it at the tribunal (not the recording but the information) that I had collected from the report. Thats why I will make sure my husband get what he is entitled to.
I called DLA today and they said it could take anotehr two weeks before they have the answer from the medical doctors that they are taking advice from.

If not I will going to our MP I will stop at nothing to ge this resolved.

OMG Had a letter from DWP today after being told in the week that it could be upto 2 weeks!!! are they really taking the ***** dated 17.09.10 from the lady I spoke to they have turned him down!!!! I am so angry that the so called doctors think my husband can walk 50 metres all be it slowly!!! how the bloody hell do they work this out when he has one leg and crutches!!!! and what about his wheelchair he is so depressed grrrrrrrrrrrrr well they have one hell of a fight this time on their hands I have some one better to help me this time with the appeal and I will not let them win!"!!!
