Just thought I would remind everybody to check back with the DWP if you have not heard from them regarding any outstanding matter.
After three days of trying I finally got through to my local office to ask what was happening with my mortgage payment claim, only to be told that it had lapsed because I had not returned the documentation!
I had in fact sent it back, as requested to the Birmingham office, but it had not made it through to Wellingborough, my local office.
Anyway, bottom line, don't wait, ask!
