ESA medical

I am attending an EAS Medical tomorrow and to be honest am dreading it. I suffer from osteo arthritis of spine and am worried about failing as I have read they are made difficult to ensure only a few pass. Has anyone got any tips for me please it would be much appreciated

You will find advice and likely questions in the guides in the members' area.
The most important thing when answering questions about your health is to make sure the information you give is relevant to the WCA test, which is covered in the guides.

I attended the assesment but unfortunately was in so much pain and so flustered I forgot to mention some important points. I am awaiting the dreaded letter, I think it will be turned down because of these omissions. So I will have to go for an appeal. I didn't find all the info on here until after the interview, and found some of the questions very misleading and irrelevant.

Hi you say that some of the questions were misleading and irrelevant can you give us a few examples of what questions were asked.

I got my letter this morning to say I passed my medical. However i was a little surprised that I was seen by a physio and she had no idea what the medication was that I had brought with me. Also she asked about my employment history and family.

she might not know the medicaton but i would say she is better placed to know what and what you could do with your condition .... as she would in her line of work she lots of bad backs from a slight starin lifting a heavy box to disxs falling apart
